This recipe is from a friend's grandma. She made it on wash day because it is so easy to make.

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 40 minutes @ 350° F


Thaw strawberries.

- One 16oz package of frozen strawberries

Combine the following in a bowl, mix.

- 1 cup flour - 1 cup sugar - 2 tsp. baking powder - 1/2 tsp. salt - 1 cup milk

Melt butter, place in 9x13 baking dish.

- 1 stick margarine

Pour bowl of ingredients over melted butter.
Pour strawberries over top.
Bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown (about 40 minutes).
