Makes: 1 Stromboli (feeds 2-3 people).
Prep time: 20 minutes
Rise time: 2 hours
Cook time: 35 minutes @ 350° F


Combine the following in a large bowl, mix into dough.
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt, stir until disolved
- 2 cups flour

Let dough rise for 1 hour.

Roll dough flat on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle shape. Add the following in the middle:
- 1/4 lb hard salami, cut into small pieces
- 1/4 lb ham, diced
- 6 oz shredded cheese (provolone, mozzarella, cheddar, etc.)
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano

Fold edges in to center lengthwise, seal at center, seal ends. Place seam-down on a cookie sheet.

Let dough rise for 1 hour.

Bake in 350° F oven for 35 minutes.
