Q: What kind of video files are these?
A. The videos are now hosted on YouTube. This allows anyone to watch them, without the need for certain media players and codecs to be installed on your computer. In addition, you can rate and comment on the videos, plus you can subscribe to me in youtube to be notified of any new videos I may upload in the future.
Pictures:
Q: Can I use one of the pictures for commercial use?
A. With my consent, yes. Send me an e-mail telling me what picture you want to use (the URL of the picture would be handy) as well as a brief description of what you would like to use it for. Generally there is no cost to use a picture, but of course if it is going to make you millions of dollars, then I would like a piece of the pie. All of the images that I took with my camera were originally at a resolution of 2832 x 2128 pixels, and I can e-mail the originals if necessary. There are some pictures taken by other people, and they hold the copyright on those, not me. If you would like to use one of those pictures, e-mail me and I'll see what they want to do.
Q: Can I use one of the pictures for non-commercial use?
A. Sure. Right click, Save As.
Q: Have I seen one of these pictures before?
A. Possibly. I've seen some of these pictures hotlinked on various forums, I've seen a couple in videos on Youtube, and at least one has made it on to DTN.
