Spreading lime. This stuff was originally used for filtration at a clean water treatment plant. As we are located near the second largest metro area in Iowa, there is a lot of this stuff around. It was dumped here a year ago and had the consistency of peanut butter. It has dried just enough to flow through a spreader box.

Last day of NH3. This 24 knife bar covers acres a lot faster than the 16 knife bar we used last year.

The unmistakable smell of NH3.

Started on NH3 today. The soil temperature is now cool enough that the NH3 will remain stable. The MX275 is still discing down corn stubble in a few fields, but other than that, the tillage is nearly done.
