Finished NH3 today.
2010-11-7 - Part 2
There is a John Deere 9630 in the neighborhood that is pulling a 24 knife bar. The setup is drawing attention online and in person. Today it was running near my house, so I had to take a closer look. The tractor has a GS2 display for auto-steer with a SF3000 on the roof running SF2. There is also an Integra in the cab to manage section control (the bar has 4 sections) as well as rate control for the NH3 and N-Serve, plus the associated application logging and coverage maps. There are also some cameras on the machine, one under the front axle to make sure the N-Serve tank bung doesn't get busted off when driving through a deep waterway, and another on the back of the bar to assist with hooking up to full tanks.
