Humid and cloudy today. Soybeans wouldn't go, so we worked on some corn that had moderate stalk damage from some wind back in June.

We ran on the 25th, it rained a little more on the 26th, and we ran today. Even did soybeans this afternoon.

It rained a bit overnight and we didn't think the soybeans would work, so the working machine was switched over to corn. By noon the sun came out and the wind was blowing, so we switched it back to soybeans after lunch. The broken machine was back together about then, so we ran soybeans all afternoon. The humidity was high and it sprinkled a couple times after dark, before we finished the field. More rain is forecast for the next few days.

Today was humid and cloudy, so we got a late start on the soybeans. Shortly after getting started, one of the combines toasted the thrust bearing for the adjuster on the rotor belt drive pulley.

Plugged fuel filters on one machine, air filters on the other. Other than that, a very productive day.

We ran some more corn early this morning, then switched over to soybeans.

The storm last night dried up before it got to us, so we were able to run today.

Yesterday was light rain and overcast all day, so nothing moved. Today was sunny with wind, so we did some corn. The soybeans got pretty soaked up yesterday and need another day to get dried out. Unfortunately, there is more rain on the way for tonight. Every time the soybeans get close, it rains again.

It rained a bit on the 8th, and it has been rather cold since then. Below freezing at night, and only into the 40s by day. We just got going on corn again this afternoon, and there were places in the field that were still pretty soft. We need some sunshine and wind to get the soybeans dried out. A chance of rain is forecast for tonight and tomorrow.

Yesterday was a rain day, nothing moved. Today was sunny, so one combine was doing corn all day, which kept ahead of our dryer when it is this wet (23-26%). We tried the soybeans this afternoon, but they're just too wet yet. The straw was dry and there was plenty of dust, but the beans just aren't dry.

We did some corn today, but it is plenty wet at 27%.

It rained the last two days, and today just dried off the paved roads. Rain is in the forecast again for the day after tomorrow, so it looks like we won't cut soybeans for a while.
