Last day of soybeans, and it was uneventful. We also delivered some grain today, and we had a bin to clean out.

We're still sitting, waiting for dry dirt. I expect to see some planters rolling tomorrow, but we might wait another day for better conditions.

Rain showed up again this evening, so we're shut down. Once it dries out again, it should only take us 4 hours of run time to finish up.

We didn't run yesterday - the ground was just too sticky. While the tractor would be capable of driving through the field, the dirt builds up on the wheels of planter, eventually they quit turning, and the soybeans don't get covered up correctly. We'll get rolling this afternoon.

We got a late start today because there was fog and a heavy dew overnight. Then we got rained out late this afternoon, and it really rained hard. Although the rain forced us to quit planting, it was nice to see. It will help some of the corn break through the surface. There was a bit of crusting on some fields, and this rain will fix that.

The planting conditions for the soybeans have been great so far. We got rained out for about an hour today, but it was only a light rain, so we were able to get rolling again once the sun came back out.

The third picture shows one of the reasons why GPS based steering is attractive. Trying to see "the mark" can be difficult sometimes.

Got the planter rolling again today on corn, and the soil is really working up nice. I forgot my camera today, so no pictures. Sorry.
