I talked to Alex on the phone for a while tonight. He said they drove the combines about 50 miles this morning, cut some acres, and have now driven them another 15-20 miles tonight to the next stop in the area. The finished up in the Colby / Monument area last night. The are currently in Leoti, which is west of Scott City. He said they've been sitting a lot due to the rain.

Rain day again today, got rained out on the 15th at about 5:00pm... rained all night and is still raining off and on today, with rain forecast for the rest of the afternoon and tonight with another chance tomorrow night. I'm meeting up with some old college buddies tonight to tear up the town again. -Alex

Cut fair wheat 20bpa or so at 12.6 moisture. Only have about 600 acres to cut as 400 was totaled out by the insurance guy.

Found the Johnson Harvesting crew right south of Russell cutting on the highway. Hope it made you smile! The yellow combines were Collins harvesting from Mitchell, South Dakota. That's all for today.
Yes, I'm smiling. Those Kenworth T-800s look great.

Alex's crew isn't in Colby yet, but there is plenty going on here already. These are pictures from Terri.
