It has been a long night of storm watching. Some strong wind moved in tonight around dusk and it rained about 11:30. I don't know if it rained out at the fields, but I would bet it did. If so, we won't cut till at least late afternoon tomorrow. Wait, I mean this afternoon now since it is after midnight.

Good morning again. On days like today, the guys don't usually do a wake-up call since there is no reason to get up early. We'll probably wax trucks today or something like that. Somebody said it didn't rain out at the fields, so maybe we'll cut after lunch. Only time will tell. I talked with Tyler this morning and he said they got back with #9 truck around 3:00 this morning.

We watched a couple movies this morning and lunch was excellent. We are planning to cut this afternoon.

We just got back from the field and had supper. We cut the initial 70 acres after lunch, then found another 200 that were fit, then another 200 or something that was fit. The "just one more round" concept worked until the field was done. I did however get to watch the sunset from my combine cab at 9:13 tonight.
