Lance here - Alex tells me that they cut for 1 hour last Thursday, and nothing since then. The had about 600 acres left, but some severe storms have delayed any thoughts of cutting that for a while. Everything got loaded up and they are now staying at an awesome RV park in Kirkland, TX. Just looking at the wheat in this area, it looks good. They expect most of it to yield around 50 bu/ac, with some up near 60. They have 4 combines and 1 cart with the crew here, but they have 3 other crews and 11 other combines spread out in other location. They hope to start cutting tomorrow afternoon.
