Attended a Pioneer meeting featuring sessions on root worm control, Goss' wilt, and methods to increase yields. The 300 bu/ac research group had a tough season this year due to the drought through out most of their research area. Kudos to Pioneer for presenting a lot of data and technical info - I like that.

The corn crib has been getting some attention, but unlike the barn, it won't be seeing any fresh paint.

A warm sunset on the last day of 2011. We still haven't seen any measurable snow this winter, and today's temperature was nearly 50 degrees.
